Why choose PVCu sliding doors for your home?

Modernise your home with Patiomaster Inline sliding doors

A popular renovation option for decades now, sliding doors have become a classic way to open up the rear of your home whilst maintaining fantastic views of your outdoor space. PVCu sliding doors from Patiomaster offer excellent performance, security, and thermal efficiency. Available in a range of colours and with a selection of glazing configurations, they are a perfect addition to any home improvement project.

The system is designed with both function and form in mind but also durability. Aside from looking wonderful, the Patiomaster system is designed to be durable and hardwearing; colours won’t fade, and the frame won’t crack or split. PVCu is one of the strongest materials on the market, offering excellent impact resistance without the maintenance required of timber doors. Alongside this you can be sure that your door will be a perfect fit for your home.

Design and access

Patiomaster inline sliding doors are installed on a stainless-steel track that supports the weight of the frame, making it lightweight with a smooth opening. The system is available in configurations of up to four panes and suites with the Optima PVCu window range.
The system comes with 28mm high performance glazing as standard, and the slim sightlines offer uninterrupted views of your outdoor space and bathe your home in natural light. A low threshold option is also available, making sure spaces are accessible to anyone with mobility issues.

PVCu sliding doors: Security and efficiency

The doors themselves offer u-values as low as 1.2 W/m²K, meaning excellent thermal efficiency and money saved on energy bills. For the warmer months, the doors themselves open up to massively increase your home’s space and provide natural ventilation when its needed most. The system also provides excellent insulation.

Security should always be a concern but never an issue and patio doors have often had a reputation as a weak spot in terms of home security. Patiomaster inline sliding doors offer a multi-point locking system with an interlocking shoot bolt mechanism for excellent protection against intruders. The anti-lift sash stabilising trim prevents panels from being levered out of the frame. All systems come with a 3* anti-snap locking cylinder as standard, which are designed for easy maintenance and long life, keeping your family and your home safe.

Hardware and Options

The Patiomaster system is available with a range of secure Framexpress locking handles, which come in a range of colours such as chrome, silver or gold and offer the perfect complement to any design or colour specification. The system is also available in a midrail option, making them the perfect choice for porches, especially with the option to install letterplates.

The glazing itself is available with the option for surface coatings, practically invisible additions to help reduce solar gain and heat loss. The optional double or triple-glazed units are filled with argon gas and use warm-edge spacer bars to insulate your home even further.
