High spec delivered as standard

The Alitherm 400 series of aluminium casement windows from Smart Systems is highly energy efficient, with U-Values as low as 1.4 W/m²K double-glazed and a Window Energy Rating of A+. Polyamide thermal breaks within the profiles help to eliminate condensation on the inside of window panes, traditionally experienced with older aluminium systems. Co-extruded glazing gaskets are also included, helping to speed up on-site installation.

All Framexpress aluminium casements are supplied with high-spec double-glazed units featuring Super Spacer® warm edge technology, together with Argon-filled panes. Unlike other fabricators, a high specification is included in every window – as standard.

Safe & secure

We know safety and security are of the utmost importance to your customers. That’s why at Framexpress, we include high security multi-point locking systems on every aluminium casement window as standard. For wide openings, sash locks and child safety restrictors are included for added safety and security.

Framexpress is registered with the police initiative ‘Secured By Design’ for extra peace of mind, and our aluminium casement windows can be manufactured to the British Standard PAS24:2022 for Security.

This also means our Smart Systems aluminium casements can also be compliant with Approved Document Q of the UK Building Regulations for dwellings – important for commercial builders and developers.

High quality hardware

Just like our uPVC casement windows, aluminium casements from Framexpress are available with high quality hardware as standard.

Guardian Claw hinge protectors help prevent windows from being forced open on the hinge side, while Yale® friction hinges improve weather sealing on top-hung windows. Cotswold easy-clean hinges for side-hung windows are designed to support fire escape building regulation requirements.

Your customers can choose from handles in white, chrome, satin, gold or black. They can also add astragal bars for a Crittall-style finish.

British-made for quality

Fully manufactured at our specialist manufacturing site in Telford, all Framexpress aluminium casement windows utilise Smart System Alitherm 400 profiles and are assembled by window fabrication experts.

We deliver to trade installers and window fitters throughout Wales, the Midlands and across the South and South East of England.
