FrameXpress’ Provides Festive Fun For Charity

sTUART

Once again this year, the FrameXpress team will be getting all dressed up for a little festive ‘fun-raising’ with a Christmas Extravaganza on Friday 16th December, that is all for a very worthy cause.

Christmas will arrive a little early on the FrameXpress doorstep as, for a small fee, staff will be dressing up in their finest festive jumpers and fancy dress outfits instead of formal work outfits, to raise funds for Hope House Children’s Hospice.

Managing Directors Stuart Green and Mark Westbrook will once again be supporting the event as ‘Christmas Helpers’ by answering the phone and putting on the kettle. Staff will be made cups of tea and coffee throughout the day in exchange for a donation which will then be put towards the event.

As well as a prize for the best jumper or Christmas outfit, there will be other competitions for staff and customers to enter including a guess the baby/child photo. The person who can name the most staff faces will also win a prize on the day. The whole team is joining in a ‘Secret Santa’ with Father Christmas arriving on the day to make deliveries.

A selection of “homemade” cakes and raffle tickets will be on sale throughout the day for customers and visitors when they pop into the office, with all sale proceeds from these being donated towards Hope House.

Again, Stuart and Mark have agreed to match the final amount of staff and customer donations on the day… !

Every year frameXpress looks to support a local charity at Christmas time and this year the Hope House Children’s Hospice has been selected by the entire team. Hope House is located close to the company HQ and provides care and support to life-limited children and their families from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.

The Hospice provides a number of services and support including respite and end-of-life care either at the hospices or within the family home.

Mark Westbrook comments, “Christmas is all about giving and this is a local charity that is very close to the hearts of many people at the company. Last year we raised over £400 for a great cause which was so rewarding in many ways. This year our target is to beat that amount for some incredibly brave children and their families. We are hoping that customers who are passing will drop in to join in the fun.”

Michelle Milward, Office Manager commented, “We had so much fun last year and it really got the whole company into the Christmas spirit. It was such a rewarding day. We are looking for as much support as possible and once again we will confirm the final amount we raise early in the new year.”

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for our best dressed winner on the day!
