Telford based, framexpress Ltd, has recently achieved Constructionline accreditation in a move to simplify contract procedures regarding commercial projects. Instigated by Sarah Price, Commercial Sales Manager alongside Angela Griffin, HR Manager the company intends to eradicate the duplication process in administration procedures thereby making the PQQ stage easier for customers.
In order to be awarded with this prestigious accreditation and meet government standards, framexpress needed to satisfy stringent health, safety, environmental, equality, diversity and financial standards. Customer references were also required to substantiate the quality of the company’s services and customer support.
Constructionline is the UK’s largest online register/database for pre-qualified contractors and consultants to the construction industry. Introduced to improve procedures and efficiencies in the construction industry for both buyers and suppliers, its specific aim is to reduce the amount of duplication involved in the administration work regarding construction contracts for pre-qualifying suppliers.
Currently, approximately 8,000 buyers from over 2,000 organisations already use this database across the UK, to source pre-qualified suppliers in the construction sector. These range from public sector bodies such as local authorities and the NHS as well as private sector businesses including major contractors, small construction firms and consultants.
