One of the most recent renovation projects demonstrated the commitment of the frameXpress team when working with customers to provide the perfect solution. The Farmhouse project required technical expertise to ensure that the highest levels of thermal efficiency and soundproofing could be achieved.
In the first phase of a redevelopment programme at the luxurious private home, frameXpress provided new sash windows and doors to provide the very best in style and security. Additionally, sets of bifold doors had to fit into a section of the property with a 3ft thick wall and guarantee the highest standards in relation to thermal performance.
The country dwelling that can be found in a rolling hillside location is being adapted into a private home from a working farm. The new owners wished to retain all the character of the original property whilst ensuring the house could achieve A++ ratings throughout.
In the initial phase of the project, old world charm had to be retained throughout to meet specifiers demands which required careful attention to detail from the technical team at frameXpress. Working alongside architects and the customer, framexpress provided the right solution that would blend into and support the existing architecture of the building.

As the homeowners were looking to enjoy the space they opted for products that would give the best in terms of thermal performance. Security was also a consideration with the property in a premium position and the owners keen to minimise temptation for potential burglaries. Secured By Design guarantees were stipulated to provide assurances on safety and security throughout the property.

As an ongoing project that is due for completion in 2017 security and aesthetics have been a primary consideration.
