A window into the future: How Framexpress is supporting installers in 2025

At the end of 2023, many of us looked to the new year with confidence, and while we as a company made many strides to grow in 2024 – it definitely encouraged us to reflect and take stock after consumers essentially hit pause on both purchases and plans.

With major political shifts and a plummeting economy, the past 12 months saw the cost of living crisis put major pressure on homeowners – with food prices skyrocketing and heating bills going through the roof. It meant that while the essentials started to feel more like luxuries, things like home improvement sank to the bottom of the list.

We’ve all felt the effects of it in one way or another, but with the confidence in our team, products and offering, we hit play in a paused market. Plus, with Glenigan predicting a 14% increase in private housing to start in 2025, and Labour’s plans to build 1.5 million homes over the next parliament, it looks like we could be turning a corner. Framexpress is committed to ensuring our customers are equipped to make the most of these opportunities.

Navigating the new year

While uPVC fabrication is the foundation of our business, we know from observing market trends and speaking to customers that there was more we could do to help them remain competitive. Plus, with the budget set to put even more financial pressure on businesses, it’s vital that our customers have everything they need to compete in today’s market.

By pulling on the decades of experience within our team, our existing infrastructure, and the confidence in the support we offer, we saw the opportunity to launch Ali by Framexpress – our new range of aluminium windows and doors. It was an unconventional time to launch an entirely new product range, but the reception it received went far beyond our expectations.

We found that customers valued the ability to access everything they like about us – from short lead times, a higher specification as standard, a hassle free service and after-care – for various product types. Without having to seek out additional suppliers for uPVC or aluminium windows and doors, or composite doors, they had access to a network of support under one roof, and that we knew we had found a niche.

Looking to the future

After taking the time to evaluate our strengths and where we can add value to our customers, we’ve been working behind the scenes to make that a reality for our customers in 2025.

We’re dedicated to delivering a complete CLUB of products to help our customers deliver on every job, no matter the requirements or specifications, and with our soon-to-be announced product updates, we’re confident we can deliver that. Plus, with systems close to completion that have been designed solely to enhance our customer’s experience, they will be able to tap into a complete network of support that provides every solution –  from streamlined order management to help promoting their business, and an even easier way of working with us, so we can help them navigate every aspect of a project with ease.
